Abstract:

Our research interests span many fields, ranging from total synthesis of natural product, synthetic methodology, combinatorial chemistry and small molecule based chemical biology. We consider synthesis with its virtually limitless possibilities as an enormously creative activity, and this skillful art, broadly applied, sets us apart from more specialized questions and allows us to approach fundamental problems in not only chemistry but also biology.
